How long is each lesson?

Every lesson is 45 minutes and delivered fully online via Zoom.

Who are the lessons for?

Lessons are for learners of English as a Foreign Language and for learners of German, from beginner through to advanced. Sessions are one-to-one and tailored to your level and needs. Sessions can be taken in group classes with other learners.

How do I book a lesson?

Choose a lesson on the Services page and click 'book'. You then pick a date and time that suits you, and Emily confirms your slot and emails you the Zoom link.

What happens if I book a package?

You do not need to schedule all of your lessons straight away. Once your package is paid for, it is valid for six months and you can book each lesson at a time that suits you.

When are lessons available?

Lessons currently run on Fridays 10:00AM – 6:00PM UK time, with no availability between 12:00PM and 1:00PM. There will be more availability when demand increases.

How much do lessons cost?

Single lessons are £30. A package of ten lessons is £250, which works out at £25 per lesson and is valid for six months.

How do I pay?

Payment should be made after Emily confirms the lesson booking. An invoice will be sent for each lesson and must be paid at least 24 hours before class. If you have booked a package, an invoice will be sent upfront for the total amount of lessons which must be paid in full before class. Please note, failure to send payment will result in the lesson being cancelled.

What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule?

You must give at least 24 hours notice by email and your lesson will be rescheduled. Lessons cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours notice will still be charged. Please note, refunds are not possible.

Do I get materials after the lesson?

Yes — all materials used in the lesson are sent to you afterwards, and package students also receive a written study plan.

Is there a free consultation?

Yes. Everyone is welcome to book a free 15 minute call to meet, discuss your learning goals and conduct a plan for moving forwards. Please note, this is not a trial lesson.

What software do I need?

Zoom and a stable internet connection. Ensure you are sitting in a quiet space with no distractions for the lesson.
